Athletes for a Cure
Athletes for a Cure is a fundraising and awareness program of the Prostate Cancer Foundation that helps athletes as they play, run, bike, walk or race for a cure. Whether it is your first 5K or fifth triathlon, anyone can be an Athlete for a Cure. All money raised by Athletes for a Cure directly supports the Prostate Cancer Foundation by funding the world's most promising research for discovering better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer.
There are three ways to be an Athlete for a Cure:
Athletes for a Cure is an honored beneficiary at many premier events. Find one in your area and be a part of the AFAC team.
Any Event, Any Time, Any Where
Help raise funds for a cure at any event or in any way you choose. You can do anything from participating in a local race to biking from coast to coast. Any Event, Any Time, Any Where. This is the easiest way to be an Athlete for a Cure: pick any event around the world, create a page and then start spreading the word.
Create an Event
Feeling more ambitious? Apply to start your own event. Whether you are starting a community race, a softball game, or a dodgeball tournament, fill out an application with your plans and we'll get back to you. Event organizers that register with Athletes for a Cure get added benefits and the ability to become a featured event.
