STRIDE Everyday Joins the Prostate Cancer Foundation's Take Aim Campaign

New Program Fights Prostate Cancer by Raising Consumer Awareness and Funding Research

SANTA MONICA, CA/October 17, 2011—The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) today announced its newest Take Aim Premier Partner, STRIDE Everyday underwear. Take Aim is a cause marketing program created to protect men and their families by raising awareness of the disease and support crucial research to find a cure. "STRIDE Everyday is delighted to partner with the Prostate Cancer Foundation to support advanced research breakthroughs," said Joel Strickland, CEO of STRIDE Everyday. "Our products are a great fit with PCF because of their innovative concept and value to men managing the issue of light incontinence. Together with the Foundation, we hope to find a cure for prostate cancer."

STRIDE Everyday underwear is bringing confidence back to men experiencing light urinary incontinence (due to prostate issues) with its breakthrough briefs featuring patented built-in absorbency technology. STRIDE Everyday offers a dignified, discreet, convenient and comfortable solution against embarrassing stains, odors and visible bladder leaks. Nothing to detect, replace or dispose because these everyday underwear are 100% machine washable – not a disposable product. For every pair of briefs sold, STRIDE Everyday will donate $1 to ground-breaking prostate cancer research.

“The Prostate Cancer Foundation welcomes STRIDE Everyday to the Take Aim program as a Premier Partner,” said Dan Zenka, senior vice president of communication of PCF and a prostate cancer patient. “With their quality, fashion products, STRIDE Everyday will reach men who will benefit from not only their products, but the message of hope against prostate cancer.”

While, in incidence and mortality, prostate cancer is to men what breast cancer is to women, public awareness for this disease has traditionally lagged behind breast cancer. This year, in the U.S. alone, more than 240,000 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed compared to 218,000 in 2010, and more than 33,000 men will die from the disease. Take Aim is a designed to increase awareness of this disease. The Take Aim campaign is also supported by NASDAQ OMX and The Republic of Tea.
