In memory of Edward Lee Taguba

We would like to say thank you so very much for all of your kind words, thoughts and prayers for my Dad Edward Lee Taguba. We miss him so much and wish now more than ever that we had more time with him. After more than 5 years of battling prostate cancer, my Dad was freed from his pain and returned safely home to Heaven on January 3rd 2012. We will always be proud of my father for all of his accomplishments and sacrifices. His lessons in perseverance and integrity will always remain with us and be passed on. Dad was always strong and proud. He never gave up and always fought for what he believed was right. In honor of his spirit, we hope you will make a donation to the Prostate Cancer Foundation so the fight to find a cure will always remain strong.

May you rest in peace Dad. We will always love you and remember you… Until we meet again.

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard his call,
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I’ve found that peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My Life’s been full, I savoured much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch,

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free.
