James Nathan Marshall, 62, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on June 3, 2015, at his home.
“I love my family, “ is something James announced often at cookouts, tailgates, holidays – relishing any occasion to eat, drink and be merry with his family and friends. He was a devoted friend who was always there to share a meal and a laugh in the good times, and who was there to lend a helping hand in the bad times. James was truly loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed grilling, gardening, the Dolphins, and the Panthers. He was a dedicated employee of Timken Lincolnton Bearing Plant, retiring in 2013 after 23 years of service. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a still photo lab specialist from 1971 – 1974.
James would want to thank his family and friends — all of whom supported and loved him as he battled prostate cancer these past three years.
The family appreciates any donation you can make towards research and a cure for prostate cancer.
