Scott Lee Schubel, 56, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown, MD.
Born, July 9, 1959, he was the son of Donald Lee and Betty June Schubel. Scott graduated from Middletown High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and his law degree from American University. Scott was an avid musician and a beautiful piano player. He had a passion for antique French cars and owned a Citroen himself. He spoke several languages. Scott enjoyed skeet shooting, traveling the world, and looking for off-the-wall places. He helped anyone who was in need, was very active in the community, and served on the Board of the Red Cross.
Scott was a practicing attorney for thirty years, most recently with his own firm, The Law Offices of Scott L. Schubel.
In addition to his parents, Scott is survived by his loving wife, Hsiu Chiang, whom he married August 21, 2006; two sons, Michael Schubel and Edward Schubel; two step-daughters, Joanne Lee and Jade Lee; two brothers, Greg Schubel and Alec Schubel; two sisters, Jodi Schubel and Rebecca Schubel; and many nieces and nephews.
