Stuart Frederick Bittelman was born on May 27, 1934, and died from the effects of prostate cancer on February 27, 2013.
Thank you for considering donating to cancer research in honor of Stuart Bittelman. Stu was a very good man, a strong man, a kind man, with a great zest for life. He was someone who was always there for a friend or even to help out a stranger. Stu was a man of action, living life on his own terms, never satisfied to simply sit on the sideline. Stu was a fighter and maintained a positive outlook right up until the end. Even during his 6 year battle with cancer, he continued to be a positive influence for others. His love of life and energetic spirit will be missed by so many.
Stu was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Stu is survived by his wife of more than 51 years Paula, his son and daughter-in-law Eric and Amy, daughter and son-in-law Laura and Bob, and four beautiful grandchildren–Ariel, Chloe, Michael, and Jason.
We love you, Dad, and our lives are so much richer for having had you in it.
Stu lived his life giving back way more than he took. We hope that you will follow Stu’s example and contribute in the fight against prostate cancer.
The family will be notified of your gift as well as any notes you include. Please allow an additional 5 – 7 business days for mail delivery, per the US Postal Service. If you prefer, donations may also be mailed to:
