Professional and amateur golfers from around the country lend tremendous support to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.

Since 1997, The Prostate Cancer Foundation has been supported by the late, legendary golfer Arnold Palmer. The Par-3 Challenge (formerly known as Arnie’s Army Battles Prostate Cancer) is a closest-to-the-pin contest built around a day of play or a tournament, and is intended to support the cause and to raise money for prostate cancer research. The program offers prize collateral and awareness materials for contributing golfers, plus a nice prize for the closest-to-the-pin winner.

The Prostate Cancer Foundation is forever grateful to Mr. Palmer for his support and his passion for the cause. His legacy lives on through his family who continues to support the research and programs of PCF as we search for a cure.

Blue Ribbon Golf tournaments are uniquely created by those who love the game and want to raise valuable funds for much needed research. If you and your friends or members at your club are serious about making a difference in the fight against prostate cancer, a golf tournament is a great way to make that difference come to life.

Father’s Day is certainly a great opportunity to show the men in our lives how much they mean to all of us. That doesn’t mean it’s the only time of year to hold an event. Golfing on this special holiday is just another way to enjoy our time with dear old Dad. Our Golf Fore Fathers program alongside participating golf courses is simple, but has an enormous impact.
