The Home Run Challenge is still going strong, transforming every home run into support for lifesaving prostate cancer research. Since June, the campaign has brought prostate cancer awareness to communities across America while highlighting the extraordinary research driving progress against the disease.

As Major League Baseball players hit 502 home runs, PCF Founder Mike Milken and CEO Gina Carithers traveled from San Diego and Los Angeles to San Francisco, Milwaukee, Chicago, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York, Boston, and Kansas City, meeting supporters, engaging fans, and championing the importance of early detection. |

For more than 30 years, PCF has invested over $1 billion in research worldwide, helping advance scientific discoveries that have contributed to 15 FDA-approved therapies and fundamentally changed outcomes for men facing prostate cancer. |
|
The communities visited during this year’s Home Run Challenge are home to many of the researchers and institutions supported by PCF, where more than $383 million in funding has empowered over 560 investigators, including Young Investigator Award recipients, to pursue the next generation of prostate cancer breakthroughs. |
