Paddle4Prostate
If you are local to the Rochester, NY area, paddle with purpose–raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research. All proceeds will go directly to PCF. Other than skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer among men in the U.S. Paddle4Prostate will be held at Shadow Lake Golf Club and Monroe Golf Club on Saturday, September 27 from noon to 8:00pm.
Many of us may know someone who was impacted by this disease; Laura, Paddle4Prostate organizer, and her family lost their hero, John Shostak, to prostate cancer.
Witnessing my father’s journey was nothing less than heartbreaking and at the same time eye-opening. It made us realize how urgent the need is to advance prostate cancer research. – Laura
