Adam Bart
Vice President of Development

Adam brings more than 30 years of professional development experience in higher education, with deep expertise in principal and major gift fundraising, high-touch donor stewardship, campaign strategy and implementation, and the leadership and coaching of large fundraising teams.
Most recently, Adam served as Associate Vice President for Development, Schools & Colleges at George Mason University. In this role, he worked closely with deans and chief development officers to help schools and colleges achieve annual fundraising goals and campaign benchmarks. He also played a key role in shaping fundraising strategy for George Mason’s ambitious $1 billion comprehensive campaign, establishing performance benchmarks across the university and coordinating a series of strategic campaign retreats for academic leadership.
Prior to George Mason, Adam spent 25 years in Southern California in leadership roles at prestigious private colleges and universities. He spent nearly 17 years at the University of Southern California as Senior Executive Director of the USC Associates and Director of Major Gifts. During his tenure, Adam contributed to USC’s historic and record-setting $7 billion comprehensive capital campaign.
While he valued the opportunity to spend the past four years on the East Coast closer to his parents and siblings, Adam is thrilled to return home to California. He is excited to join the Prostate Cancer Foundation and help advance its mission by driving impactful philanthropic support for life-saving prostate cancer research.
