Only a few days left to give during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month!
A letter from Lori Tessel, Chief Philanthropy Officer
Dear Friend,
Every September, Prostate Cancer Awareness Month asks men to do one simple thing: know their numbers. But awareness alone has never cured anyone. What turns a diagnosis into a survivable one is research. Patient, rigorous, expensive research, sustained over years by people who believe it will pay off.

You are one of those people.
Because of donors like you, PCF has funded more than 530 Young Investigators since the program began which includes our newest 2026 class. These are the scientists who go on to run the labs, lead the trials, and design the therapies that change what a diagnosis means. Many of them will be in one room together next week.
With gratitude,
Lori Tessel

The 33rd Annual PCF Scientific Retreat

From October 2 through October 4, researchers from institutions around the world will gather for the 33rd Annual PCF Scientific Retreat.
The retreat is unlike most scientific conferences. It is small, invitation only, and built around unpublished work. Findings are presented months or years before they reach a journal, in front of a room of people equipped to challenge them. Collaborations form here that would not form anywhere else. A question asked from the floor on a Saturday morning has more than once redirected a line of research.
The weekend also includes a dedicated forum for PCF Young Investigators, where the newest members of the field present alongside the researchers who mentored them. Your support helps make the next class possible.
The Prostate Cancer Foundation has been working to accelerate life-saving prostate cancer research since 1993
