Considerations for Gay Men

In honor of National Men’s Health Month and Pride Month, June’s webinar brings two stories of men and their journeys through and beyond prostate cancer, with host Dr. Zachary Klaassen, a urologic oncologist. Hear from a man who was experiencing symptoms but was unaware that it could be prostate cancer. He shares how meeting Dr. Klaassen made all the difference in his care and his outlook today. Our second speaker participated in a study for gay men following treatment for localized prostate cancer and has been active in gay men’s support groups and advocacy. Urologist Dr. Sherita King discusses the clinical issues she sees in her practice helping men restore sexual function. Drs. Klaassen and King take viewers’ questions about active surveillance, diet, testosterone, and more.

This event is generously supported by Lantheus.
