Abstract Submission Information for the 28th Annual PCF Scientific Retreat Virtual Poster Session
The deadline to submit an abstract for poster presentations is Friday, October 8, 2021 by 11:59 pm U.S. Pacific Time. Abstract submissions must be emailed to: [email protected]. Please also make sure to indicate on the Retreat registration form that you will be submitting an abstract for consideration in the poster session.
All PCF Retreat attendees are highly encouraged to submit an abstract for a poster presentation summarizing your recent prostate cancer research. All submitted abstracts will be publicly posted on the Retreat website. Approximately 200 abstracts will be selected for the Virtual Poster Session that will be held in conjunction with the 28th Annual PCF Scientific Retreat.
The 28th Annual PCF Scientific Retreat Virtual Poster Session will begin on Thursday, October 28, 2021.
Virtual Poster presentations will include an abstract, a PDF of the poster, and a 5 minute audio presentation.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Please email a Microsoft Word document containing your abstract to [email protected]. Please also make sure to indicate on the Retreat registration form that you will be submitting an abstract for consideration in the poster session.
Abstracts must include: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions, Funding Acknowledgements, and a Conflicts of Interest Disclosure Statement. *Failure to include any of these fields may result in a delay of review and/or acceptance of your abstract.
Word limit is 450 words. The word limit applies only to the abstract body (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions).
Authors may submit more than one abstract for consideration on separate projects.
POSTER PRESENTATION INFORMATION
Presenters of accepted poster abstracts will need to upload their abstract and poster presentation in PDF format on the PCF Retreat virtual meeting platform. You will also have the option of uploading a video presentation in mp4 format. Additional instructions and deadlines will be provided upon acceptance of your abstract.
Posters will become publicly viewable on the PCF Retreat virtual meeting platform on Thursday, October 28, 2021. Accepted abstracts will remain confidential until that that time. The content will remain available to meeting registrants for at least one month from the date of online publication. Authors whose abstracts are selected for presentation are considered to have granted permission to PCF to publish all submitted content in this open access online format.
