Create a Facebook Fundraiser for Your Birthday!
Your friends on Facebook are there because they care about you and want to see what you are up to and what you are interested in. By creating a Facebook fundraiser, you can help raise critical funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation without spending any money of your own.
Often, people who care about you will be inclined to support something you are clearly passionate about, especially if it is for a good cause. It can be particularly effective to donate your birthday on Facebook to great cancer-fighting organizations like the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Casual acquaintances may not be likely to send you a personal gift, but if they see you are trying to raise money for cancer, they may be inclined to open up their wallets to show love to you AND those who suffer from prostate cancer. Use Instagram Story Donate Button!
Maybe you’re not on Facebook, but you’re on Instagram. There is still a way for you to wield your personal following to impact positive change in cancer research! Instagram Stories now offer a donation sticker in their add-ons menu (where you find all of your other Instagram Story stickers).
Try putting the sticker on a story that is relevant to the cause you are supporting. Record yourself talking about why you believe it’s so important to donate to cancer research, or place the sticker over an image of someone you know who has been affected by cancer.
Fundraise for Prostate Cancer Research
Men and Women Across the Country are Helping Realize PCF’s Mission in their Local Communities.

Together, PCF community members have raised more than $2 million for prostate cancer research through a variety of local events and activities. Here are some ways you could help. Learn More.
Follow the Cause and Spread the Word!
Helping cure cancer can be as easy as staying aware by following and sharing cancer-fighting organizations on social media. The benefit of this may not be obvious, but awareness is an important part of saving people from dying of cancer.
A simple share of a social post that encourages people to get screened for cancer can be the difference between a stage 2 cancer that goes into complete remission and a stage 4 cancer that ultimately ends someone’s life. You may not be in the financial situation to donate, but you may inspire people to donate and learn some life-saving information.
