Caring For Yourself During and After Prostate Cancer: Best Survivorship Stories

June 06, 2021
National Cancer Survivors Day

Today is National Cancer Survivors’ Day, when we celebrate people living with a history of cancer. It’s a day to reflect on what survivors bring to our community and to recognize the challenges they face during and after treatment.

More than 3 million men in the US are living with a history of prostate cancer. Prostate cancer treatment, while effective, can have side effects. Janet Farrar Worthington has interviewed experts in the field, as well as survivors, about these issues, and includes action points that men and their families can use to care for themselves.

PCF’s wellness guide, The Science of Living Well, Beyond Cancer also has tips on rest, exercise, and nutrition for cancer prevention and recovery. It’s also for anyone who wants to learn about healthier choices to help prevent any number of chronic diseases. Download your free copy here.
