Dear friends,

Thank you for considering support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation in memory of Bob Domanic.

At age 79, Bob lost his courageous, 20-year battle with cancer on Monday, June 18, 2012 in Raleigh NC. Born in Bayonne, NJ to the late Michael and Mary Domanic on November 4, 1932, he graduated from high school in Highland, NY in 1950 and then joined the Navy where he served on the USS Chewauken and USS Iowa. In 1956, Bob married Gertrude Maroldt, the love of his life. After the Navy, he joined IBM where he worked in Field Engineering for 33 years. Retiring in 1989, he began his second career as an entrepreneur with investments in Jiffy Lube Oil Change and Goodberry’s Custard.

Bob fought for his life and he fought hard. He was guided by the loving and expert hand of Dr. P.J. Singh of The Cancer Centers of North Carolina.http://cancercentersofnc.com/physicians/profile/paramjeet-p.j.-singh-m.d/.
