Project Title:

Elucidating the Immunogenomic Landscape of Lethal Prostate Cancer in African-American Men: A Howard-Hopkins Partnership

Project Overview:

Understanding the unique biological contributors to prostate cancer in AA patients will lead to improved treatment approaches and reduce prostate cancer disparities. Dr. Lotan and team will perform a large scale effort to define the genomic landscape and characterize the immune tumor microenvironment of AA prostate cancer. These studies will enable new precision medicine approaches to be developed for the AA population which bears a disproportionate burden of prostate cancer.
