About Larry T.

When I was diagnosed in August of ’16, I had made arrangements to haul my motorcycle to Sturgis for the rally, my wife (caregiver and partner) was with me then the oncologist gave us the bad news about the monster. I was ready to cancel my trip but after taking me to the pharmacy to get some scripts she kicked me in the butt and sent me on my way. Sherry and I have been married 30 years and have worked together 24-7 since just before we got married. She has been awesome, when I was losing weight from chemo she learned that Gravy was about the only thing I could get down ,so lots of chicken with potatoes and gravy for almost all meals also made me pies to go with the ice cream I had to have. Sherry has hauled me to the ER several times, making sure we were separated from the sick people, called our doctors day and night arguing with them when we didn’t get the answer we needed. Held my head up when I couldn’t . Cheerfully driving me back and forth for tests and treatments, called all our kids and parents, and arranged the sale of our business. And while doing all of this managed to get our friends together so we could redo our marriage vows. She has now had to start caring and helping my father who has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer on top of dementia. She has managed to get him his meds free due to his income. The list goes on and on, she is my princess and nurse, my true love ❤️ who I would be lost without.
