Arnie’s Army Battles Prostate Cancer
The Prostate Cancer Foundation partners with Arnold Palmer Enterprises and Arnie's Army Battles Prostate Cancer to raise money for prostate cancer research.
These one-day events are built around a closest-to-the-pin contest on a par-3 hole. Various print and prize collateral materials carry the program logo and all golfers are encouraged to join Arnie's Army to help win the battle against prostate cancer.
Arnie's Army began moving across the nation in 2002 with a goal of enlisting hundreds of thousands as members of Arnie's Army and raising several million dollars for the Prostate Cancer Foundation's mission. To date, Arnie’s Army has sponsored more than 3,000 events, raising more than $5 million in the fight against prostate cancer.
Arnold Palmer, a prostate cancer survivor and honorary golf chairman for the Prostate Cancer Foundation, has raised millions of dollars for prostate cancer research through the Arnie's Army Battles Prostate Cancer program.
